Yesterday I post on my facebook status "FB is the root of all evils"

With the fast expanding of social media network, facebook, twitter etc.. bla.. bla.. bla..

This week or maybe last week, suddenly pop up this group on FB namely "Semenanjung Anti Sarawak"

Apa gik la orang Sarawak, ribut koh. Sapa sik manas tek nak?

Many concern Sarawakian already made a police report regarding this issues

Udah.. dah di politik kan lagi isu tok...

Well, our reaction have become very typical. Blame the Government (who else to blame), blame the politician, blame the police, blame the media, or even blame the parents sbb sik ngajar anak.. etc

Its like the blame can solve all problem ;)

Maybe if we can find the reason why this thing happened, then maybe, we can rationalize it.

I'm Not Dead

Blog aku tok dah mcm sebuah rumah usang. Lamak sik update, ngabas pun jarang.

So many thing in my mind actually. Ideas come and go. Maybe I just holding my back. Maybe I should write anything that came up of my mind. Doesn't matter if other people, or specifically a passing by stranger like it or not. Doesn't matter my grammar right or wrong This is my blog anyway. What are the reason I create this blog at 1st place? To write what I want.

So, what to write? maybe I start again with current issues. Unsurprisingly, may hot issues surface now. I want to be part of it. So, don't hold back. ciao!

Baleh - Kapit Raft Safari

This is the second time I compete in raft tournament, but my 1st time at Kapit. The more extreme Batang Baleh & Batang Rajang river.

Although we are 1st timer, the ultimate underdogs, we manage to reach the finish line and surprisingly, we got no 5 in just 4 hours

Google Translate

Actually my intention is not to write about this "google translate" thing but its more about our attitude. Some of us specifically. I'm working with many veteren people, age 50+. I understand their limited knowledge of technology especially computer & internet and I'm happily assist them if they need my help.

One of the thing that they frequently ask or need help is translating English word of sentence to Malay. (Government use Bahasa Melayu in any official matter) Few of us (younger people) in the office and I'm the one who always become a hero.

But what make me not happy or sometimes furious is, the attitude of this younger people. Always say "I don't know. Ask him."

Well it's not that I'm good in English but they make me look a lot clever. Come on! at least give effort la. You open facebook, you play farmville, cafe world, download etc.. but when people ask word meaning, you effortlessly say don't know. WTF! For God sake there are google, google translate, world is on your finger

I AM THANKFUL

This is not new, you can find it in other blogs, websites, books, etc... But it worth to share again and again. So inspirational!

I am thankful..

.... for the person who complains when his dinner is not in time, because that person is with me, not someone else.

.... for the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes, because that means she is home and not on the streets.

.... for a lawn that need mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing, because it means I have home.

.... for all the complaining I hear about the government, because it means that we have freedom of speech.

.... for the parking spot that I find at the end of the lot, because it means I am capable of walking, and that I have been blessed with transportation.

.... for my heating bill, because it means I have been kept warm.

.... for the lady behind me in church who sings off key, because it means I have freedom of religion and that I can hear.

.... for the pile of laundry, because it means my family and I have clothes to wear.

.... for weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means I have been capable of working hard.

.... for the alarm that goes off in the morning, because it means that I am alive.
